Plant care sheet
Latin name: Episcia cupreata.
Description: A beautiful flowering plant from the same family as the African violet, now making a strong comeback in our homes. Some varieties feature copper-toned foliage, while others produce bright red flowers. With its trailing stolons, Episcia is an excellent choice for hanging baskets.
Light: Medium
Watering: Allow the growing mix to dry slightly between waterings.
Tips & tricks: Bottom watering or soaking is recommended, as the fuzzy leaves are sensitive to water on their surface.
Watch for: Root rot can occur if the plant is overwatered.
Available from March 1st to March 31st at participating garden centers and IGA stores.
