Latin name: Ficus spp.
Description: A beautiful plant with large, colourful leaves that will gradually form a small tree over time. Ficus plants dislike changes in their environment, so keep them away from drafts and heat sources. You can occasionally pinch the growing tips to encourage better branching.
Light: Medium to high
Watering: Allow the growing mix to dry slightly between waterings.
Tips & tricks: Avoid moving ficus plants too often to prevent premature leaf drop.
Watch for: Monitor for two-spotted spider mites on the undersides of the leaves.
