Latin name: Nematanthus gregarious.
Description: Nematanthus is commonly known as the goldfish plant because of the distinctive shape and bright colour of its flowers. Did you know it belongs to the same family as African violets? With its semi-trailing habit, it relies on good light exposure to bloom, so be sure to place it in a bright spot to show it at its best.
Light: High
Watering: Allow the growing mix to dry between waterings.
Tips & tricks: Pruning about one third of the plant once a year helps maintain a compact, rounded shape.
Watch for: Monitor for mealybugs.
