Latin name: Fatshedera Lizei Pia.

Description: A lesser-known hybrid that deserves more attention in the horticulture world. As its name suggests, this upright plant is a cross between Fatsia and Hedera. It features large, deeply cut leaves variegated with creamy white, held on sturdy stems.

Light: Medium

Watering: Allow the growing mix to dry slightly between waterings.

Tips & tricks: Use a well-draining growing mix to help prevent root rot.

Watch for: Check for two-spotted spider mites on the undersides of the leaves; apply insecticidal soap if needed.

Available from March 1st to March 31st at participating garden centers and IGA stores.
