Latin name: Strelitzia reginae.
Description: Commonly known as the bird of paradise, Strelitzia gets its name from its exotic, birdlike flowers. This beautiful tropical plant has a relatively slow growth rate but can reach an impressive size indoors over time. Its bright green foliage is naturally glossy and highly decorative.
Light: High
Watering: Moderate; water when the growing mix feels dry to the touch.
Tips & tricks: Wipe the leaves regularly with a damp cloth to remove dust and keep the foliage looking shiny.
Watch for: New leaves may appear pale if the plant is not receiving enough light.
